On the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 11, the Wellington Village Council joined representatives of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue for a wreath-laying ceremony at the Wellington Patriot Memorial in honor of the 17th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Pastor Josh Mauney of New Sound Church delivered the invocation, and Wellington Idol winner Carly Cantor sang the national anthem.
