The December meeting of the Women of the Western Communities will be held Thursday, Dec. 6 at the Wellington National Golf Club at 400 Binks Forest Drive in Wellington. Happy hour will start at 6 p.m., and all attendees should be checked in and seated for dinner by 6:30 p.m. The guest fee is $30.
The December meeting will be a fundraiser for the club featuring a ticket auction with many items to choose from. Tickets are $20 for 25 tickets, plus a door prize ticket. Attendees can also purchase an additional 20 tickets for just $10. Tickets can be purchased by cash, check or credit card.
The group’s monthly donation for Harmony House is toys for the children at the shelter and small gifts that they can give their mothers. Some examples are lotions, soaps, perfume and costume jewelry.
