St. Peter’s United Methodist Church held its first Christmas Fest on Saturday Dec. 1.
Pastor Mark Caldwell, the head minister at the church, explained that the event was a combination effort between the ministry and the church community. “I’m grateful for the community,” Caldwell said. “They help support areas not just in our community, but in other areas as well.”
There were booths and vendors around the church gym. A barbecue lunch was cooked by Paul Davisson and served by church members.
Live music was performed inside, and there was an area outside for kids to play in real snow. The Xtreme Tae Kwon Do demo team also performed at the event.
