Polo Park Middle School’s pre-engineering program and robotics teams were excited to have Dr. Justin Karl, an aerospace technologist from NASA recently come and speak to students. It was an amazing event. His first meeting was with the robotics teams, where he gave them some advice on their Lego League projects about exercise and agriculture in space. Then, he spoke to the pre-engineering students and gave them the opportunity for a question-and-answer session. Dr. Karl stressed to the students that they will be the future of NASA. “The young innovative minds of today will be the NASA minds of tomorrow,” he said.
