The Royal Palm Bassmasters held an end of year classic tournament, a two-day event, on Dec. 15-16 on Lake Okeechobee out of Clewiston.
First place in the tournament was won by Taylor Renney and Joe Stowell with 10 fish weighing 18.80 pounds.
Second place was awarded to the team of Kiel Carr and Riley Pierce with 10 fish weighing 18.09 pounds.
The team of Paul Schrein and James Wilkinson took third place with 10 fish weighing 17.44 pounds.
The big fish on day one of the tournament was 2.89 pounds, caught by Taylor Renney and Joe Stowell.
The big fish on day two was reeled in by the team of Paul Schrein and James Wilkinson, weighing in at 4.50 pounds.
The Royal Palm Bassmasters meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Royal Palm Beach Recreation Center, located at 100 Sweet Bay Lane. The club is now accepting applications.
