In celebration of a new partnership with the Kids Cancer Foundation, Life.Church volunteers recently served dinner and participated in fun family activities with patients and their families.
As part of the celebration, the Kids Cancer Foundation also accepted a $5,000 grant that will help the nonprofit continue to provide hope and support to local children and families battling childhood cancer and blood disorders.
“Our volunteers are excited to spend time with the patients playing games, doing arts and crafts, and just having fun,” said Joshua Dougan, Life.Church Wellington LifeGroups/LifeMissions pastor. “Our main goal in working alongside the Kids Cancer Foundation is to create moments and help the patients find normalcy outside of their treatments.”
