The Genealogical Society of Palm Beach County will meet on Saturday, March 9 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in the community room at the Palm Beach County Main Library, located at 3650 Summit Blvd. in West Palm Beach.
The program will feature the presentation “The Disappearance of Jennie Arena: A Family History Mystery Solved with DNA,” by Alana Edwards.
Edwards is a science educator at Florida Atlantic University’s Center for Environmental Studies. Over the past three years, she has volunteered her time to help more than two dozen people discover lost family connections, using techniques of both traditional and genetic genealogy.
