Join the Countywide Community Revitalization Team (CCRT) for a public meeting hosted by the Office of Community Revitalization (OCR) on Tuesday, July 16 at 6 p.m. at Vista Center (2300 N. Jog Road, West Palm Beach). The meeting will focus on “Learning How to Escape a Sinking Vehicle.” The guest speaker will be Anna Stewart with the Drowning Prevention Coalition of Palm Beach County.
With lakes, ponds and canals particularly prevalent along county roadways, drowning incidents involving motor vehicle crashes is quite common. Practical information along with relevant videos and audience participation will be offered to educate the community about this life-threatening issue.
