The Florida Association of City Clerks (FACC) awarded Wellington Village Clerk Chevelle Nubin the Robert N. Clark Memorial Award at the group’s annual Summer Academy and Business Luncheon on June 24.
The Robert N. Clark Memorial Award is presented by the FACC to recognize and honor a municipal clerk who has significantly promoted and advanced the ideas and goals of the profession by actively participating in the improvements of municipal government in the state and local community. This is one of the highest professional awards granted by the association.
“This award is a recognition of Ms. Nubin’s dedication to her profession and her ability to inspire and empower others. Her contributions, both personally and professionally, to the FACC and to the Village of Wellington make her most deserving of this award,” Village Manager Paul Schofield said.
Nubin has been an active participant of the FACC for 16 years and has served the association in executive positions as vice president, president-elect and president. She is also a member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks and an active participant on the Florida League of Cities’ Municipal Administration Committee.
