The Loxahatchee Groves Landowners’ Association will meet on Thursday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Palms West Presbyterian Church (13689 Okeechobee Blvd.). The speaker will be from the Drowning Prevention Coalition of Palm Beach County on “How to Escape from a Car in a Canal.” The meeting is open to the public, but only paid LGLA members are allowed to make motions or vote on a motion.
