On Saturday, Oct. 12, the American Cancer Society held a Pink Party for a Cause benefiting Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Palm Beach. The event featured a Zumba class, a survivor recognition, a raffle and a performance from local singing artist Helene Kaufman. The event also had a bra decorating contest, a mini pumpkin decorating area for kids and an “ask the doctor” segment from Wellington Regional Medical Center. The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Palm Beach Walk is coming up on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 9 a.m. at the Meyer Amphitheatre in downtown West Palm Beach.
