Wellington Cares, a volunteer organization that assists senior citizens in need, held its seventh Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon on Friday, Dec. 6 at Piatto Bravo restaurant in Wellington. Sharing smiles and stories of success, the volunteers were treated to lunch as organization leaders thanked them for their service to local seniors. Volunteer Ann Brinson received a special shoutout for volunteering a total of 118 hours in 2019, the highest of all in the group.
