Freedom — and applause — rang through the Royal Palm Beach Cultural Center on Monday, Jan. 20 as hundreds of people attended the 18th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration hosted by the Caribbean-Americans for Community Involvement (CAFCI). A continental breakfast prior to the event was followed by speeches and live performances remembering the late civil rights leader.
