The Capstone at Royal Palm senior living facility hosted an open house on Tuesday, Jan. 21 to show potential residents what the new facility will look like once it is complete and offer information about the services available.

While the open house was at an off-site location, the Capstone at Royal Palm will be located at 10621 Okeechobee Blvd., across the street from Royal Palm Beach High School.

Managed by Integral Senior Living, a national leader in the industry, the facility will have assisted living units and memory care units. Living units will have private bathrooms and kitchenettes, with assisted living units ranging in space from 410 square feet to 823 square feet.

There will be multiple floor plan options, 24-hour assistance, restaurant-style dining, housekeeping, positive and professional associates, and even pet friendly options.

The common areas at the Capstone will include community dining rooms, a salon and a spa, walking trails, gardens, a gazebo and a dog park.

Staff on hand for the open house included Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing Jeffery Smith, Regional Vice President of Operations Kevin Knopf, Regional Vice President of Operations Nick Castilleja, Regional Director of Sales & Marketing Heather Haley, Capstone at Royal Palm Executive Director Melanie Acevedo and Capstone at Royal Palm Director of Sales & Marketing Hope Garling.

The open house included mock-ups of what the apartments would look like, as well as raffles, catering by TooJay’s and music by the Gratitude Steel Band.

Royal Palm Beach Mayor Fred Pinto, who has long supported bringing additional senior services to the community, visited the open house and was impressed by what he saw. “This is the first facility of its type in Royal Palm Beach,” Pinto noted.

A steady stream of residents from throughout the area dropped by to learn more about the Capstone at Royal Palm, many seeking a home-like facility to provide care for loved ones.

Additional open houses will be held in the weeks to come. For more information, visit www.thecapstoneatroyalpalm.com or call (561) 570-2005.
