The Wellington-based Bainbridge Companies, a leading owner, developer and manager of luxury multifamily apartment communities, recently announced that it has been named for the fourth consecutive year to the National Multifamily Housing Council’s (NMHC) Top 25 Developers list. Bainbridge was also named to the NMHC’s Top 25 Builders list for the second consecutive year.
The NMHC’s Top 25 Developers and Top 25 Builders lists rank national apartment firms based on 2019 project starts and activity. Bainbridge ranked 17th on the Top 25 Developers list and 19th on the Top 25 Builders list.
“We’re proud to see our team’s efforts recognized on the NMHC’s top developers and builders lists,” said Kevin Keane, chief operating officer for Bainbridge. “We’ve achieved an incredible amount of growth over the last couple of years, expanding our presence in Florida and across the mid-Atlantic, Northeast and Southwest regions. Because our construction team operates in-house, our developers and builders are able to collaborate in a unique way — there’s a shared sense of vision, efficiency, and creativity that’s really rare.”
This past quarter, the company achieved a new milestone, reaching $1 billion in development activity. To keep pace with growth, Bainbridge opened a new regional office in Tampa, Fla., its sixth regional office, and re-located its Bethesda, Md., office to a larger space.
Bainbridge’s property management division has also achieved significant growth, most recently retaining management of Westshore Marina in Tampa and adding management assignments at Aventura Oaks in Miami, the Club at Crystal Lakes in Deerfield Beach and Avanti in St. Petersburg, among others.
