Wellington invites the public to show its support and appreciation for local healthcare workers during National Hospital Week (May 10-16).
On Monday, May 11, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue, Wellington Village Council members and residents will join in a vehicle parade that will travel past Wellington Regional Medical Center during a shift change.
All residents interested in joining the healthcare heroes parade must meet Wellington staff and first responders at the Nordstrom parking lot at the Mall at Wellington Green (between Dillard’s and Macy’s) at 6 p.m.
Drivers and their passengers must remain in their vehicles at all times in order to practice safe social distancing.
Wellington is grateful for the sacrifice and dedication of its local healthcare professionals who continue to keep the community safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
