Due to Tropical Storm Eta, the School District of Palm Beach County will be closed tomorrow, Monday, Nov. 9. This means there will be NO school for students tomorrow, neither in-person nor virtual. District offices will also be closed Monday. All employees should remain home and not report to work.
The decision to close schools takes into account the probability of high sustained winds and gusts that would likely make school bus travel unsafe tomorrow. The district’s decision is also based on forecasts indicating excessive rainfall and the possibility for local flooding.
The district will continue to update parents, guardians and staff regarding district operations as the tropical storm continues its track to the south.
