Crestwood Middle School in Royal Palm Beach celebrated National Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Day on Friday, March 26. Students and staff showed their support for the importance of mental health. Crestwood aims to build the skills necessary to set and achieve goals and establish relationships. Students love the weekly SEL lessons, where they get to know each other a little bit better and make long-lasting friendships. Studies show that students who learn these SEL skills also improve in their academics and attendance.
