Wellington Garden Club’s 40th Anniversary

The Wellington Garden Club is currently celebrating 40 years as a member of the National Garden Clubs. On Monday, Dec. 6, the Wellington Garden Club will hold a celebratory luncheon with Vice Mayor John McGovern emceeing the honors.

In attendance will be eight past presidents, dating back to 1998. Also in attendance will be founding member Lily Wiggan. She was one of the 10 women who started the club. The luncheon will be held at the Wanderers Club beginning at 11 a.m. Every attendee is asked to bring an unwrapped gift for the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots toy drive.
