The Wellington Garden Club will hold its Gardens of Distinction Garden Tour of six local gardens on Saturday, April 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come and be amazed by the spectacular landscapes that feature orchids, native plants, butterfly gardens, vegetable gardens and shade gardens.
The garden of international equestrian Todd Flettrich will be one of the gardens open to ticket holders. A plant sale, craft boutique and 50/50 raffle will be held at Garden #6.
Tickets are $25 if purchased in advance and are available at www.wellingtongardenclub.org. Alternatively, on Saturday, April 2, tickets can be purchased for $35 at the Wellington Community Center (12150 W. Forest Hill Blvd.) from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
All proceeds will support the club’s charitable contributions for high school, college and camp scholarships for environmental studies, Habitat for Humanity, community beautification projects and Junior Garden Club programs.
