Barrett-Jackson To Auction Charity Vehicles At Palm Beach Event To Help Ukraine

Barrett-Jackson, the World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions, has a long-standing reputation for helping those in need with the sale of charity cars. Continuing that tradition, Barrett-Jackson will auction two vehicles, one from the George Shinn Collection and one from Mark Pieloch’s American Muscle Car Museum Collection, together as a pair to benefit Samaritan’s Purse and its humanitarian relief efforts in Ukraine.

“We are proud to work with such generous individuals like George and Mark who have graciously donated these two vehicles to support those suffering in Ukraine,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “To date, we have helped raise more than $144 million for charitable causes around the world, and we are pleased that during our return to Palm Beach this week, we can be a platform for raising funds to support the men, women and children of Ukraine.”

Offered from the world-class George Shinn Collection is a 2009 Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake (Lot #3003) that will support Samaritan’s Purse for disaster relief and emergency medical care in Ukraine. The matching-numbers Official Indy Pace Car 1986 Chevrolet Corvette convertible (Lot #3003.1) also benefiting Samaritan’s Purse is offered from the renowned American Muscle Car Museum out of Melbourne.

“The generosity of our consignors and bidders continues to amaze me more and more at every Barrett-Jackson auction,” said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. “The opportunity to play a role in providing much-needed support to the men, women and children suffering in Ukraine right now is something I’m very honored to be a part of. I want to thank George and Mark for their incredible kindness, and I look forward to what will surely be a spectacularly memorable moment when these two cars cross our auction block in Palm Beach.”

Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world.
