The Wellington Community Foundation recently awarded students at Palm Beach State College with assistance of $10,000. The funding will go specifically for Wellington resident veterans who will be attending during the upcoming school year.

These students participate in the Veterans for Success program, which enables veterans to attend college, and assists with tuition and educated-related expenses.

“This grant is directly in line with the foundation’s mission, and we are happy to assist the men and women who served to protect our country further their education,” WCF Chair Tom Wenham said.

This is the third consecutive year that the Wellington Community Foundation has partnered with PBSC to provide scholarships to these PBSC students.
