Wellington High School’s New Student Orientation will be presented for all incoming ninth graders, newly registered students and their parents. The presentations will be about policies, procedures, dress code and important first day information. It will be held in the school’s theater on Friday, Aug. 4.
In order to better accommodate busy schedules and the large number of incoming students, there will be two presentations. The first presentation will start at noon virtually for those not able to attend the evening session at 6 p.m. Entertainment by the Mighty Wolverine Sound, the cheerleaders and the dance team will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the theater.
On Monday, Aug. 7, the school will hold its annual Freshmen Invasion from 8 to 11 a.m. in the gym. All incoming ninth graders should attend. The day will feature a presentation on what it means to be a Wolverine, building bridges among peers, campus tours and success strategies.
