Auditions will be held for the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of “The Princess and the Pea” on Monday, Sept. 11 at the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center from 4 to 6 p.m. Those auditioning should arrive at 3:30 p.m. to pre-register and should plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.
Among the roles to be cast are the Princess, the Pea, King and Queen Size, Storm King and Snow Queen, the Prince, Jack Frost, the citizens of Riverdom and Glacierdom, Dust Bunnies, Princesses and Leprechauns. Currently enrolled students ages 5 to 18 years old are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary.
The Missoula Children’s Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery and props. Actors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week; a schedule will be given after the auditions.
“The Princess and the Pea” will be presented at 11 a.m. at the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center at Palm Beach State College on Saturday, Sept. 16.
