The Wellington Quilters Group was visited by Healthy Mothers/Healthy Babies representatives on Thursday, Nov. 2. The group gift-wrapped handmade stuffed animals with home-sewn quilts to be donated to the Child Protection Team of Palm Beach, the Health Mothers/Healthy Babies Coalition of Palm Beach County and the Giving Closet Project to be shared with children in need of comfort. The Wellington Quilters Group has been sewing together for 25 years and is one of the activity groups of the Wellington Seniors Club.
