The Palm Beach County Department of Public Safety’s Division of Animal Care & Control (ACC) will hold a second community meeting on the Countdown to Zero (C2Z) initiative.
The meeting will be held Thursday, Jan. 18 at Vista Center (2300 N. Jog Road, West Palm Beach) in the main chambers at 6:30 p.m.
C2Z is a community initiative to end the euthanasia of adoptable dogs and cats in Palm Beach County. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an update on the C2Z initiative, discuss the current state of C2Z’s goals and objectives, and gain feedback from the community on next steps.
During this meeting, members of the public will also hear about ACC’s mission, vision, objectives, history of operations, program development, and present-day operational needs and challenges
