Barky Pines Animal Rescue & Sanctuary in Santa Rosa Groves is among more than 25 teams competing in the Saturday, Feb. 3 Great Charity Challenge at the Wellington International showgrounds.
Teams of riders will be paired with nonprofit organizations. A team can win up to $100,000 for their nonprofit with $1 million total expected to go to various charities. There’ll also be food vendors, a petting zoo, face painting, a carousel and the Wellington School Art Festival.
Gates open at 6 p.m. General admission is free. The competition begins at 7 p.m. The event is sponsored by Fidelity Investments.
