April is National Fair Housing Month, and the Village of Wellington is committed to promoting fair housing practices and educating the community on their rights and responsibilities.
Wellington invites the community to take part in a Fair Housing Month Webinar, taking place on Wednesday, April 17 at noon through Zoom. This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required to attend. Registration is now open at www.wellingtonfl.gov/fairhousing.
The webinar will feature a speaker from Palm Beach County’s Office of Equal Opportunity. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about programs and services offered through these offices and gain a better understanding of the Fair Housing Laws in Florida.
“As we recognize National Fair Housing Month, Wellington remains steadfast in our commitment to fostering inclusive communities,” Village Manager Jim Barnes said. “This webinar presents a valuable opportunity for residents to engage with experts and deepen their understanding of fair housing principles.”
