Kids Cancer Foundation families spent a special afternoon with Polo for Life at polo player Brandon Phillips’ polo barn on Sunday, May 26. The families got to meet Phillips’ horses, and they received their own Polo for Life team jerseys and personalized polo mallets of their chosen color with their initial on them. After touring the barn, the kids all had the opportunity to ride a polo horse around the polo field. Polo for Life ended the day by presenting the Kids Cancer Foundation with a check for $100,000 that they raised through the annual Polo for a Purpose event. The money will go toward funding the essential programs and services that the Kids Cancer Foundation provides to patients and families battling childhood cancer in the community.
