Library Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month With Events For All Ages

The Palm Beach County Library System is proud to announce a month-long celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month that runs through Oct. 15.

The library system invites the community to join in honoring the rich history, culture, impact and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans in Palm Beach County and around the world.

A variety of engaging activities and events will be offered for all ages. Families can enjoy bilingual story times, arts and crafts workshops inspired by Latin American traditions and interactive cultural demonstrations.

Teenagers can participate in book discussions featuring Hispanic and Latino authors, while adults can attend informative lectures on Hispanic history and literature.

The library will also host several award-winning films.

“We are thrilled to offer a diverse range of activities that reflect the vibrant tapestry of Hispanic and Latino cultures,” Palm Beach County Library System Director Douglas Crane said. “This celebration is an opportunity for our community to come together, learn and appreciate the invaluable contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans.”
