On Thursday, Nov. 7, Fifth Third Bank hosted a ceremonial ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of the bank’s new East Wellington location.
Located at 900 S. State Road 7 in Wellington’s Shoppes at Isla Verde, the new Fifth Third Bank branch is a 2,193-square-foot renovation of a former HSBC branch, equipped with one meeting room, one booth and drive-through services. The financial center features the new DeNovo design focusing on an open environment equipped with the latest technology aimed at delivering personal customer service to provide the best experience and advice to clients.
Attendees enjoyed a brief program, live music, food from Talkin’ Tacos and dessert from Nothing Bunt Cakes. Attendees included several members of the Wellington Village Council; Rob Baluchi, Fifth Third Bank’s Retail Executive South Florida; Sharond Poag, Fifth Third Bank’s Retail Regional Manager Southeast Region; John Slavik, Fifth Third Bank’s Southeast Regional Retail Executive; Arturo “Chris” Cortez, Fifth Third Bank’s Financial Center Manager for East Wellington; Capt. Nichole Addazio of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office District 8 in Wellington; and members of the Wellington community.
