‘Art In The Capitol’ Winner Caitlyn Panse

Caitlyn Panse, an eighth-grade student at Crestwood Middle School, recently won the “Art in the Capitol” competition with her artwork Thy Flower. The school is immensely proud to have this piece of art represent Crestwood Middle School and the Palm Beach County School District. Her winning artwork will hang in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., for one year. The tunnel is the most highly traveled access point between the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Capitol. Every day, members of Congress, distinguished visitors and tens of thousands of tourists walk through the tunnel and admire the artwork. Shown here is the winning piece of art, Thy Flower.
