The date has been set, and the teams are beginning to form for the 2025 Clinics Can Help clay shoot. This year’s Clays for Kids tournament will take place on Friday, March 7 at the Palm Beach County Shooting Sports Complex (11730 Seminole Pratt Whitney Road) and will feature a day of fun while raising vital funds to support the nonprofit’s work for children in need.
Owen O’Neill, CEO of Clinics Can Help, said his organization’s aim through this annual event is to raise needed funding for the KINDER (Kids In Need of Durable Equipment Right Now) Project.
“We’re thrilled to report that this past year, we helped more than 1,300 children obtain customized wheelchairs, mobile lifts, hospital beds, adaptive transit strollers, special needs bathing systems and other critically needed items,” O’Neill said. “Money raised during events such as this provide items to children whose families might not be able to afford them or have difficulties getting the items covered by insurance.”
CCH board member Allen Gast, owner of Gast Construction Group, will once again serve as event chair and presenting sponsor, with committee members including CCH Chair Jason Pizzo, CCH Board Member Karen Holloway, Mike Ellis, Nadine Costigan, Sally Chester, Bill Forman, Eric Yorlano, Kevin Williams and Laura King.
Breakfast and check-in for the day will begin at 7:30 a.m., with a safety briefing scheduled at 8:30 a.m. Noontime awards and prizes follow the 9 a.m. shotgun start.
Entry tickets for teams of four are $1,200, and individuals can join the fun for $325. Entry fees include a player gift bag, event shirt, ammo, golf cart, pre-tournament grab-n-go breakfast, on-course contests, awards, a sit-down lunch, giveaways and more. Event sponsors include Brown & Brown, Integrity Billing and Smokin’ Gator BBQ.

As Florida’s leading nonprofit medical equipment and supplies provider for children and adults, O’Neill said that CCH is committed to doing all it can to help ensure that Palm Beach County children have a chance to thrive in life, experiencing the dignity and independence everyone deserves.
“We’re thrilled to host our second Clays for Kids event and can’t wait to welcome all our sponsors and participants for a great day of fun supporting kids and their families,” he said.
