The sixth annual Puppy Love 5K to benefit Barky Pines Animal Rescue & Sanctuary was held at Royal Palm Beach Commons Park on Saturday, Feb. 8. Before the race began, many humans and dogs participated in a yoga stretch and stood for the national anthem. In attendance at the event was Ms. Violet, Barky Pines’ celebrity pup who participated in this year’s Puppy Bowl. After the race, a few dogs participated in a costume contest where every dog won a prize. Attendees also enjoyed raffles for prizes such as dog beds, treats, leashes and more.
