Panther Run Elementary School had a number of students who participated in the South Florida Fair One Miler. Many of the students are members of the school’s running club and Girls on the Run club, directed by Panther Run coaches Caroline Archambault and Phyllis DiGiacomo. These running clubs teach the students about endurance and pacing. as well as other life skills. The students who participated in the one-mile race received a cape and medal, and a free fair entry ticket.
