On Monday, March 3, Digital Vibez hosted the Let’s Move Challenge Kickoff Party at the Wellington Amphitheater. Digital Vibez is a nonprofit organization that hosts fitness events and classes that encourage youth and families to prioritize their physical health. Families enjoyed outdoor games, vendors, food trucks, music and dancing. The event launched the month-long countywide Let’s Move Challenge, in partnership with the Palm Health Foundation, encouraging individuals and teams to commit to exercising for at least 30 minutes every day throughout the month of March. Wellington is the defending champion in the municipal competition. Residents can register to take part for free at www.letsmovepbc.org and select “The Village of Wellington” as their team.
