The Emerald Cove Middle School SECME team recently competed in the Palm Beach County SECME Olympiad at Santaluces High School. The Olympiad is an engineering competition where the students from the SECME/STEM club get to test their projects against other middle schools.
Emerald Cove took home third place in the Mousetrap Car competition. Cody Kennedy led the team with a distance of 2858 cm. Zachary Greene and Stanley Chen took third place for Emerald Cove in the BrainBowl.
