A building dedication and unveiling ceremony was held Wednesday, April 9 to dedicate the former Midwestern Communities Service Center on Civic Center Way in Royal Palm Beach in honor of the late Fred Pinto, longtime councilman and mayor of Royal Palm Beach until his untimely death last year. The event included a family tribute by his widow, Donielle Pinto, as well as remarks by Palm Beach County Vice Mayor Sara Baxter, Clerk & Comptroller Joseph Abruzzo, Deputy County Administrator Patrick Rutter and County Commission District 6 Chief of Staff Jon Carter. The facility will now be known as the Mayor Fred Pinto Midwestern Community Building.
