On Monday, May 5, at the Wellington High School Senior Awards Night, RoseAnn Voils and Anthony Aguirre presented this year’s Christopher Aguirre Memorial Scholarship to Wellington High School senior Maiara Leandro. The $10,000 scholarship is presented by the Christopher Aguirre Memorial Foundation in honor of 2001 WHS graduate Christopher Aguirre, who died in 2006.
