Purdue Global, Purdue’s online university for working adults, hosted five commencement ceremonies at Purdue University’s West Lafayette location on May 3 for 2,654 graduates — 1,830 across three in-person ceremonies and 824 participating in two virtual ceremonies — a record high for a Purdue Global commencement weekend.
Wellington Elementary School’s Behavioral Health Professional Nicole Hicks addressed the graduates, along with more than 12,000 guests, faculty and staff members across the five ceremonies, as the keynote address speaker.
Hicks, a Wellington resident, earned her master’s degree in psychology from Purdue Global in 2021. She also founded Rays of Behavior Consulting LLC. Her passion lies in bridging mental health and applied behavior analysis to create a well-rounded approach to achieving meaningful behavior change.
