The Palm Beach County Criminal Justice Commission (CJC), in partnership with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), is proud to announce the milestone 50th session of the Citizen’s Criminal Justice Academy.
This special session will run from Sept. 17 through Dec. 17, meeting each Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m., excluding the week of Thanksgiving.
All sessions will be held at PBSO Headquarters, located at 3228 Gun Club Road in West Palm Beach, in the Community Room. Dinner will be served each evening, and participants age 14 and older are welcome to attend.
The Citizen’s Criminal Justice Academy offers a unique, behind-the-scenes look at how Palm Beach County’s criminal justice system works. From law enforcement and the courts to corrections and community programs, participants will engage directly with professionals in the field. Whether you are simply curious or a committed skeptic, this course is designed for you.
At the end of the program, participants will receive a certificate of completion recognizing their participation and commitment to understanding the criminal justice system.
