Tami Moore, culinary teacher at Emerald Cove Middle School, was recently honored as West Palm Beach Police Department Volunteer of the Year.
Since registering as a volunteer with the WPBPD, Moore has become an official Explorer Advisor registered with Post 148. She has volunteered countless hours to support the program, participating in nearly every event the Explorers have had since September.
Moore attends the weekly trainings and participated in the Special Olympics, Tip-a-Cop, the Phipps Park opening ceremony and the Law Enforcement Academy.
