Nominees Announced For Giraffe Awards

The Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County recently announced the nominees for the 20th annual Giraffe Awards in honor of Women’s History Month. The celebration will take place Wednesday, March 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Kravis Center’s Cohen Pavilion.

For the past 20 years, the Women’s Chamber has celebrated Women’s History Month by presenting the awards. The celebration honors the women in Palm Beach County who have “stuck their necks out” for other women and taken on leadership roles in business, community and the marketplace.

“The theme for this year’s Giraffe Awards is ‘Our History is Our Strength: Weaving the Stories of Women’s Lives,’” Women’s Chamber President Denise Albritton said. “Our nominees epitomize this theme.
