In the spirit of the season of giving, the Palm Beach Zoo is offering discounted and free admission to visitors. Now through Dec. 24, anyone wearing a Santa hat to the zoo will receive $2 off regular admission price. Those who come to the zoo dressed in a full Santa suit (defined as a hat, beard, coat, pants and boots) and stay in costume for a portion of their visit will be admitted for free.
The Palm Beach Zoo invites visitors to check out the more than 1,400 animals living within the 23-acre lush tropical habitat and learn more about them through daily programs such as the Wild Things Show, black bear training, black howler monkey feeding and Malayan tiger talk.
The Palm Beach Zoo is located at 1301 Summit Blvd. Memberships range from $65 for seniors to $125 for families. The zoo is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas. For more information regarding the Palm Beach Zoo, visit www.palmbeachzoo.org.
