Julius and Julia Sanna of the band Positively Africa paid a visit to pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students at Panther Run Elementary School. The couple introduced students to African musical instruments and Swahili songs as well as learning the alphabet in Swahili. The Sannas brought authentic African artifacts, which included textiles, art, jewelry, homemade toys, currency and musical instruments. The children had a great time interacting with all the fun things the Sannas brought along. For more about Positively Africa’s educational programs and performances, visit www.positivelyafrica.com.
