Western Pines Middle School Principal Bob Hatcher is proud to honor this month’s students of the month. The students were selected by the math teachers as students of excellence in and out of the classroom.
Sixth grader Tyann Bedwell is as sweet as can be. Since her teacher’s recent accident, she has come in early in the morning to run copies and offer any other assistance to make her teacher’s life so much easier. She is a wonderful student and a great young lady.
Seventh grader Sydney Panzone is a joy to teach. She does everything that is asked of her. She is responsible in every way. She shows tremendous respect for her teachers, her peers and the learning environment. Sydney consistently demonstrates superior academic excellence and self-discipline.
Eighth grader Ryan Connell is an excellent student who consistently strives to do his best. He has really outdone himself in math this past month. He currently takes two high school credited math classes and won first place in the Math Mania Contest for the online division, and then continued with another math contest and finished first for the school. His motivation and enthusiasm never ends.
