The International Polo Club Palm Beach will host “An Evening of Great Expectations” on Friday, March 22 from 6 to 11 p.m. Proceeds will benefit Grandma’s Place in Royal Palm Beach and the mission and outreach programs at St. David’s in the Pines Episcopal Church in Wellington.
The event will offer guests a relaxed, tropical evening that will include a cocktail hour, silent and live auctions, buffet dinner, and live tropical music.
Grandma’s Place provides shelter and loving care to children who have suffered abuse and/or neglect, and have been removed from their own homes by Florida courts. St. David’s in the Pines vital ministries provide meals to two community soup kitchens; organize blood drives, school supply drives and toiletry drives for the homeless; provide Thanksgiving dinners and Christmas presents to children of incarcerated parents; deliver meals to the sick and bereaved; and host nine weekly meetings for people in recovery trying to reform their lives.
Individual tickets cost $125, and sponsorship and corporate tables are available. For more information, call (561) 753-3389, e-mail mbg@phelpsmediagroup.com or visit www.grandmasplacepb.org.
