Western Pines Middle School Principal Bob Hatcher is proud to present the students of the month for March. The students were selected by their science teachers as young men and women who represent the school’s best.
Sixth-grader Rebecca McDannald is an exceptional student with a great work ethic. She strives for excellence in everything she does and is always willing to lend a helping hand. McDannald was on the “A” honor roll for the first and second nine weeks. She is an active member of the school band and in the medical academy at Western Pines.
Seventh-grader Ryan Disney is a hardworking and diligent young man. He goes above and beyond expectations at every opportunity. In addition, Disney is a quiet source of strength to many of his fellow students as he urges them to work just a little harder to achieve their goals. He is currently looking ahead to Royal Palm Beach High School for its science program.
And finally, eighth-grader Anthony Nguyen is an excellent student. He is engaged in classroom discussions and nearly always outscores his classmates in class assignments and tests. Nguyen has maintained a straight A average since day one.
