Dance students throughout the county will take center stage in a tribute concert on April 6 at the Bak Mainstage Theatre. U. B. Kinsey/Palmview Elementary School, Plumosa Elementary School, the Bak Middle School of the Arts, Okeeheelee Middle School, the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts, Boynton Beach High School and Wellington High School will join forces to present “Young Dancers in Concert.”
The concert begins at 7 p.m. and will honor Joan Miller for her contributions over the last 50 years to dance in Palm Beach County. “Joan Miller has touched the lives of many of the Palm Beach County dance teachers, public and private, as well as her many, many students,” said Martha Satinoff, dance department chair at Bak. “Please join us for an evening celebrating the art of dance with elementary through high school students and a great lady.”
