On Wednesday, May 27, the staff of Emerald Cove Middle School recognized its “Superhero Volunteers” at the school’s annual Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast. The band and choral departments performed for the group. Volunteers assist in several areas of the school, including the School Advisory Council, PTSA, athletics and with special activities and fundraising. This year’s theme — “I am a volunteer, what is your superpower?” — was very fitting for the group, which has gone above and beyond to make the school a success.
